$2.763 Million Awarded in Auto-Bicycle Crash Bad Faith Claim Against GEICO
As reported in in The Telegraph earlier this week, a federal court awarded $2.763 million to a man who was injured in a 2012 car crash, finding the at-fault party’s auto insurance carrier, GEICO, acted in bad faith. According to the injury attorney representing the plaintiff, GEICO had the opportunity to settle for their insured’s liability policy limit of $30,000 in 2012 but failed to do so.
